Gumdrop Mountains, Lollipop Woods and a Candy Castle!!!

My Sorted Affair was recently invited to participate in " Enchanted Forest: A Holiday Fantasy" a "Paws-sitively" enchanting event benefitting the Bakersfield SPCA. Tom Xavier of Tom Xavier's Soiree put on the most lovely event. The Bakersfield SPCa is a non-profit organization which was founded by community citizens in 1949. Each year Bakersfield SPCA places over 25,00 homeless animals into loving safe homes.

My Sorted Affair was invited to decorate a Christmas tree as part of the "Enchanted Forest". We chose a Candyland theme! Reminding us of childhood and Christmas past we used candy necklace garland, rock candy, and handmade lollipops and huge hard candies, all topped with a big 'ol Whrily Pop and a wreath of bow for the top!!!! It was a lot of fun. The trees were raffled off to benefit the SPCA... Happy Holidays from My Sorted Affair
